News for 12 February 2006
We were all so busy with the big move that Mommy didn't get the chance to put up my pictures from Christmas and Christmas eve so she has finally found the time to add them to my photos so if you want to check those dates you can see how much fun I had at Christmas time!!!

Today Randie is 1 year adjusted age!! She had another birthday cake today and actually got to try a piece.. and yes she liked it very much in case you are wondering!! I will be posting some pictures for you all to see how much she enjoyed it. Just be sure to check the last couple dates as there will be a few pictures posted. Randie is not yet walking on her own but she sure moves fast while running around the furniture. She also has her 6th tooth coming in!!! She has been quite the slobberpuss lately. I know it has been along time without any updates but we have moved to England and it has been taking up alot of time. Randie finally got to meet her Grandma and Granddad here in England and she has alot of fun playing with them. She misses her all her family back in Canada and hopes she will get to see them soon. I will try to keep up with more updates for all of you Canucks out there just dying to know what is going on over here... lol ;)

We went to see the pediatrician today and asked her about Randie's vomiting whenever we try and give her any form of table foods. She suggested that we continue to try and if she does vomit to wait a couple days before trying again. She does not want Randie to relate food to a bad experience and that is why it is best to wait a couple days before we try again. She said Randie is looking good and she is happy with all the things she is doing and her growth. We have another appointment in a months time so will see how that goes :)

I know it has been along time since the news was updated but we have been enjoying our time watching Randie grow so fast... We dont want to miss anything ya know ;) Randie had her 1st Birthday Party today!!! It was held at her Uncle Tim and Auntie Kim's and she had a great time. She got so many great presents she has been overwhelmed with all the new toys. Unfortunatly she is still not able to eat solid food other than baby food so she did not get to play in her cake however she did stick her foot in it...lol She has 4 teeth now!!!! The 2 bottom came in first and now she has the 2 top working their way in. She is growing up far to fast. She pulls up to a standing position on everything she can grab including our legs :) She will walk along while holding onto furnature, tables or anything close by. Look out she will be walking independantly in no time!!

News for 1 September 2005
WOW!! Our girl is officially a SITTER!! It happened all of a sudden since we got back from our vacation to Pembroke. We sat Randie down on the floor ready to catch her when she tumbles over like usual and she did not tumble!!!! She sat there for over half an hour :) She is officially an independant sitter!! YAY!! Randie!

News for 26 August 2005
We left today for Randie's road trip out to Pembroke. It ended up taking us about 9 hours to actually get out there. Randie did great!! She was a good girl on the road and did a great job being away from home. She was able to see alot of family that she had never met and she was a star. I'm sure she looks forward to her next little vacation!

News for 24 August 2005
Randie went to see the growth and development today and really surprised the doctor she had seen. The doctor said Randie is doing fantastic with all the things she is doing. We were told they would have been happy with Randie if she was still trying to roll and she has been rolling for along time now :) Randie impressed once again our clever girl!

News for 23 August 2005
Randie went to see the pediatrician today. Dr Cheung said Randie is doing great and is so pretty! We also found out that Randie does not qualify for Synagis shots this year to protect her from RSV since she was not brought home on Oxygen. This really worries me and Dr Cheung said she will most likely get RSV this year but will be allot stronger to fight it!! I don't like the thought of that.. We are going to have to be extra careful to keep Randie away from harmful germs and bacteria.

Randie has a TOOTH!!! Oh my our little girl is sure growing up soo fast.. The tooth has broken the skin and you can see and feel the sharp little guy coming through :)

Randie went to a BBQ at Auntie Kim & Uncle Tim's today. We were all having a birthday party for Grandma. It was really fun and very warm. You can see a bunch of pictures if you look at July 24th because again mommy put them up on the wrong date :)

Randie went swimming again and had a great time with all the kids. She has learned to splash and kick alot in the pool. Mommy and Daddy took a ton of photo's you can check them out if you want. They are posted under the 11th rather than the 12th because mommy messed it up :)

Randie went to her Aunt Tammy's birthday party today and had lots of fun!! She was passed around the family and of course Randie loves to have all that attention. She watched all the kids swimming in the pool and playing in the yard.

News for 2 July 2005
Randie went up to her Grandma & Papa's today to celebrate Canada Day! We took a bunch of cool pictures and Randie watched her first fireworks display. She was a little startled from the loud noises but got used to it after a few and really enjoyed watching all the cool fireworks going off. She was staring at them through most of the show.

Randie went for her second swim today out at her Auntie Tammys. This time she went in the pool with her mommy and had a great time. She did not even cry once and even splashed her face in the water a couple times. What a clever little water baby!!

Randie went for her appointment today at Shedoke McMaster for her third hearing test where she had to be sleeping for it. She passed in both ears!!! YAY Randie!! She will not need another test until she approx 14 months old corrected.

News for 27 June 2005
Randie tried her first taste of Rice cereal today. Lets just say she was not impressed. She basically made a terrible face when the food was in her mouth and she spit it right out afterward. We are going to try and wait another week before we try giving it to her again. Hopefully she is better next time. She had a screaming fit for about an hour after she tried the cereal. Maybe gas or something. Mommy will be posting some pictures of this first experience very soon so check back!

Randie went to her NICU reunion today at MUMC. It was the 20th annual Mc Pera picnic. There were alot of people there and Randie won a dolly with one of her raffle tickets. If Randie was a bit bigger she would have had alot more fun playing activities. Afterward Randie went to a BBQ at her Auntie Kim and Uncle Tim's house. She enjoyed herself there drooling on everyone and getting all the attention :)

News for 24 June 2005
Randie has been rolling around like crazy and even trying to crawl. She gets her knees under her body but doesn't yet move her arms. She is getting there though! Way to grow Randie our clever girl!!

Randie went to see Dr, Cheung today and while being weighed she decided she wanted to pee all over the scale :) I guess she wanted to get the doctor back for all those needles she was giving her. Randie is doing great and continues to gain weight and grow.
